METROGYPSIE: How To Rock | #lingerieAsOuterwear + #tips

Hi guys,
I have actually blogged this on Kamdora.com  for my Thursday-on-Kam post. I try not to use too many photos on my kamdora.com posts and also tend to get more straight to the point on there..so I’d share it all on here with outfit details.
The Lingerie as Outwear trend has been seen consistently on the runways, shoots and on our favorite celebrities.

For those doubtful of the coolness of this trend or of its fit to your personal style, I’d give you a few tips you could work with..
1. it’s very normal to think ‘red’ but it could look trashy. Take the attention off by rocking casual vibe alongside
Bomber Jacket for distraction. Could be a blazer for a more serious outing.
–  Rocking red alone
Classy easy-on-the-eyes foootwear

2. double dressing. A see-through dress could be worn over the lingerie piece. This way the lingerie is fully exposed but still underneath something else.
Easy colours.. you can’t look exposed in this.

– Buttoned up to the neck
– Belt to accentuate your waist..

For these tips above, the big picture basically is being able to strike a balance between exposure and elegance.
Another way I saw this trend was to wear clothing items that aren’t necessarily lingerie but inspired by intimates (nightwear, home-lounge wear etc)

1. Nightwear:- Shorts and a top..

– Easy to rock by any body size
– Back-view seems like a Night Shirt
– Cute and fun details
– Timberlands to strengthen the look

2. Night Robe/Dressing Gown

Interpretation
Buttoned Down dress with ropes (dressing fown-esque)

– Dress texture: Silk
– Ropes just like a robe…waist accentuation
– Home owner vibe
– Yes you can totally get on this trend

This trend has varying degrees of dare, how will you adopt this daringly elegant look?
Feel free to tag me on your Instagram posts wearing this trend.
